Lamprell, now under the wing of Algihaz Holding Company since 2022, is a global energy infrastructure powerhouse building a sustainable future. Notably, Lamprell, in collaboration with its partners, including Saudi Aramco Oil Company (40%), the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (20%), Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. (20%), and Lamprell (20%), is actively participating in the establishment of the major maritime yard at the Ras Al Khair site in eastern Saudi Arabia. This joint venture, known as the ‘International Maritime Industries Company’ (IMI), has successfully completed all conditions precedent and is formally commencing business.
An important milestone was the entry into a loan agreement with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, which, along with offtake agreements and significant government investment, is crucial for the success of the IMI yard. Construction at the site is underway, marking significant progress in the project’s development.
